Using disposable nappies is not a difficult decision to make - they are in every supermarket, chemist and corner store in the country and disposable nappy companies have millions of dollars that they spend on television and magazine advertising to convince parents to use disposable nappies.

Unfortunately, finding useful information on cloth nappies is a bit more difficult. The purpose of this website is not to convince you to use cloth nappies. The purpose of this website is to provide you with real information regarding cloth nappies so that you can make a properly informed decision as to what is best for your baby. I hope that I can also provide some information that will lead you to at least question some of the claims made by disposable nappy companies:)

Obviously, the very fact that I have created this website indicates that I am biased towards cloth nappies. I make, sell and use cloth nappies on my own children. I have used both disposables and cloth nappies and to put it bluntly, I believe cloth nappies are better for babies health as well as for the environment and I know for an absolute fact that using cloth nappies is better for the bank balance! As far as I am concerned, choosing to use cloth is choosing the soft option - soft on your baby, soft on your wallet and soft on the environment. But don't just take my word for it (after all I am biased:) Please read through the information presented on this site and make your own informed decision.
